Made of durable PVC plastic (as is all of our flair bottles), a bartender can now entertain customers behind the bar without the risk of the bottle shattering. Furthermore, since Skyy Vodka is by far the worlds most prominent supporter of flair events, bartenders can now practice with a bottle that they will most likely use in a competition. For those of you familiar with our standard 750ml flair bottle, this new Skyy Flair Bottle offers the same height and weight (approx. 17 ounces). Limited first run production. Available now. Fast world wide delivery.

MangoMyers once again demonstrating a move step-by-step as only he can. The Tin Catch is a great flair bartending move for beginners, not only because it’s good training for both hands (one to throw, one to catch) and uses two standard implements (a flair bottle and a cocktail shaker), but it’s also sets you up in a starting place for further moves. And in this case, he continues the move with a “lift off” that puts the bottle and shaker in a practical position for pouring drinks… reminding us once again that at some point in a series of moves needs to be the one that must make or finish the drink!

I particularly like how this is set up by training you to catch it in a full two flips first without the shaker. Once you have that timing ingrained in your reflexes you can move on with concentrating on the shaker hand’s aim and timing. Breaking any trick down to its minimum parts is essential, but here MangoMysers gives another example of how within a step you have to many times invent a training step that’s outside of the finished move.

Let us know! There are some big ones out there easy to find (Vegas, anyone?) but we also want to find the local spots that deserve a little attention as a great place to go to see flair bartending in action. We want to compile some lists to make it easier for our readers to know where to go to see this “sport” in action.

If you’ve got a favorite place that deserves to stand out, drop us a line, a link, and some pics if you got them, to: info@flairbartending.com

Openers aren’t just flashy tools, they’re a necessity. As a flair bartender, you’re faced with the same challenges as every other bartender on top of what you perform. What makes this opener different is the patent pending design which pops the stoppers out of bottles with ease!

Sure, we’ve all dropped a flair bottle or two. Or ten. And while standard flair bottles are usually pretty tough, this new line of bottles is insanely tough. Krytonite, huh? Well, it’s the one thing that can take down Superman, and you can see why it lives up to that moniker in the video below! From 50 feet—smashing onto concrete—they remain a solid workable bottle.

You can find them now at our Flair Bartending Bar Store.

While the indestructible nature of these bottles is enough of a curiosity to make them part of your collection, don’t overlook what else makes these stand out. The nature of their toughness comes from a unique compound that is injection molded, rather than using a blow mold. The result is a bottle that is perfect and consistent in form, weight, balance, and grip.

Oh, and they’re not so bad on the eyes! They come in a variety of colors, and no bottle selection would be complete without a neon option that glows in a black light (green, hmm… reminds me of some sort of legendary fictional rock…) and one that lights up from the bottom with LEDs.

Filmed in the “Girls Gone Wild” and “Jackass” tradition, the Bottle Slinger series of DVDs follows a group of flair bartenders on their nights out, mixing elements of their party life with working and exhibition flair. These videos are not for the faint of heart, as their unrated content includes nudity (both male and female), foul language, abuse of alcohol and general mischief. Then again, that’s what makes it fun.

The first movie, “Bottle Slinger” is the word of Producer and Flair Bartender Chuck McIntosh as he takes us through some of the hottest clubs in the industry. You’ll see Flair Stars in the wild, working a crowd and slinging drinks for hundreds. This is their every day, and we get a peek into it. You’ll see some tricks that make Cocktail look tame, and they keep getting better. This film includes clips from Sean Oana, G Money, Marc Mital, Raptis, Tony Cogburn, Matius Sapon, Danny Rossi, Nick Rossi, Juan Llorente, Christan Olden, Darby Shire, ken Hall, the late and great Ed Hibbert, Mindaugus Gradeckas, Francesco Leoni, BarProduct.com’s own Rodrigo Delpech, Adriano Marcellino and of course Chuck McIntosh.

Here’s a sample of the the original Bottle Slinger Movie:

The second movie, “Bottle Slinger 2: Tanked” starts where the last movie left off, in full party mode! More topless chicks, more bottles flying, more booze spilling and more drunken ridiculousness await in this 83 minute collection of cocktail craziness. The main feature runs 43 minutes, taking you through the night life of Chuck McIntosh and his crew. From here, you’re taken through 40 minutes of bonus footage featuring Adriano Marcellino, Francesco Leone, Christian Delpech and Rodrigo Delpech.

Here’s some sample footage from Bottle Slinger 2: Tanked:

The third installment of this Trashed Trifecta is “Bottle Slinger 3: Eurotrip”. Inebriated buds Chuck and Nick take to the streets of Europe, bouncing from Greece to Amsterdam to Ibiza to London and Italy. Along the way, they hook up with a hilarious cast of flair characters including Tom Dyer, Neil Garner, Neil Lowrey, Giovanni Doimo and Dario Doimo, Vasco, Stretch Harman and many more flair stars for long nights of mass consumption, making out with strange eurotrash girls and slinging bottles. Filmed over 3 weeks, this 14 city tour through 7 nations ends with a trip to the Bottleslinger Party featuring some of the wildest and most ridiculous footage of the Bottleslinger Girls and feats of flair not seen out of competition. This DVD is probably the most raunchy, outrageous and fun of the series, ending the Bottleslinger Trilogy on a high (and drunk) note.

His stage presence is candid and fun without the attitude you see in many other Flair Competitors. Gracious in his instruction and precise in his movements, Marco demonstrates everything from basic throws and stalls through more complete routines. His demonstration explains many facets of flair moves, including positioning and the force required to land a move. Filmed in Verona Italy, the DVD is a colorful and inspiring instructional and motivational collection, borrowing from the flair style seen in European Flair Performers while still being distinctly Marco.

Here’s a 2 minute sample from the DVD showing his flair method:
